Millésima presents Gruaud Larose 2011 futures.
"It's true that we were afraid to over-extract, but in fact this is not the case. The wine is round, flexible, creamy, with a very tight framework, it is an elegant wine. There are vintages like 2000 or 2003 that are seductive, but here we have a vintage of high class, made just by nature." Jean Merlaut, Owner

Millésima presents chateau Grand Corbin Despagne 2011 Futures.
"Our greatest strength is that this is our 200th vintage. I think the consumer will have fun with this wine, which has very supple tannins that play on the fruit and finesse of this wine... I am very confident in the 2011 vintage, it is a classic, which Bordeaux excels at. It's a good, even a very good vintage." François Despagne, Owner.

Millésima presents chateau Labégorce 2011 Futures.
"It has been a battle because it's true that this vintage was not very favorable, nature did not help us, contrary to vintages 2009 and 2010. When we open this bottle, we will mostly discover a very beautiful fruit, centered around merlot, a real pleasure, and I hope that consumers will be delighted." Nathalie Perrodo Samani, Owner

Millésima presents Lafite-Rothschild 2011 Futures.
"As with other Future wine tastings, when we taste Lafite 2011 we find delicacy, an aromatic opening of fruits, complexity on the nose and a very interesting style. But I think this vintage, like previous years, at the level of Lafite will inevitably close up to develop a balance, concentration and more mature expression of the wine." Charles Chevallier, Manager Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite)

Millésima presents chateau Giscours 2011 Futures.
"For Giscours, it can be compared to a vintage like 2001. 2001 was also in the shadow of the great vintage of 2000, but consumers should be interested in these that exist in the shadows, especially when looking at the monetary side." Alexander Van Beek, General Manager

Millésima presents chateau Sociando-Mallet 2011 Futures.
"2011 is a very colorful wine as you can see. This wine is very ripe like the 2008 and 2009 vintages, and also very round. This is a wine that can be consumed a few years after the bottling in 2013, but that also has the potential to age. This is thanks to out terroir between Saint Estephe and Pauillac." Millesima Presents Chateau Talbot 2012 En Primeur/Futures.
Jean-Pierre Marty, CEO of the Fourth Classified Growth in the appellation of Saint-Julien, spoke to the Millesima camera to share with you the experience that he and his team had for the 2012 vintage.
This year was a "winemaker's vintage" for the production of red wines in particular, and the experience of the team at Chateau Talbot was predominately to manage the difficult natural factors imposed by nature. The experience, the choices made for the best dates to harvest grapes, the best winemaking techniques adapted to the physiognomy of this vintage enabled them to make the most of the parcels of this great terroir in Saint-Julien.
Specifications of the demanding vintage and a profile of the wine are analysed by our speaker.

Millésima presents Pontet-Canet 2011 futures.
"We have a wine that is balanced, and balance is very important to me. We also have a quality of fruit for 2011 with incredible purity. I do not know exactly how the wine will age, but as many wine lovers know: if you have 12 bottles in a case, occasionally open one and see how the wine is evolving. " Alfred Tesseron, Owner
